I don’t even care about TikTok. They ALL spy on us. I am just tired of social media companies making money off of the very real human need to connect and have meaningful dialogue.

I'm not sure what the First Amendment case law is on this, but irrespective of the law, they could not enforce it. When other repressive regimes have tried to restrict their citizens' use of the internet to communicate, it has always failed.
