It’s so odd to feel so connected to strangers on Mastodon. I feel comforted by the solidarity, common interests, and intelligence. I can barely hold a conversation with trumper family and friends anymore. That includes my 80-something parents. On every trip to see them, as we cross into the north Georgia mountains, I tell my hubby, you’re in trump country now darling.
