@Jeffrey_Smith I'm especially amused by the logic that remaining in a problematic space equals acceptance of it, with absolutely no understanding of the reasons why one remains in that space. There are people who, by that logic, would condemn Black Americans for living in the Jim Crow South. Or in any of the United States in any era.

And where in hell would Black Americans go? And by what means? At what cost? Well it's easier for me to just ignore all that, tell people what I did is the only rational thing to do so I can feel better for what little sacrifice I made, and be mad at them for not helping me feel better by leaving Twitter.

Except, of course, that accusing bastard in the mirror reminding me everyone else has their own path. I can walk with others, find out where they are, point the way I'm going and why, and not use them as a tool to feel better about a very rotten mess the whole thing is. Nah... too much effort on my part.
