If someone has said something which you largely agree with, especially if what they said aligns with your understanding of and goals towards an issue, then the LAST thing they need from you is someone playing devil's advocate. Nitpicking is annoying at best and, in a world where people are looking to drive wedges between allies, dangerous at worst.

It's true that anti-Semitism significantly decreased since the Holocaust, but that's not because people magically became nicer; it's because our political and educational leaders became less anti-Semitic after the horrors of the holocaust. Now that the vast majority of young people are having their political opinions shaped by social media and TikTok especially, that is going to change.
