@rysiek My response to FB recruiters for years has been "Tell Mark 'Fuck you' personally for me."
@rysiek As I've noted, there are two reasons FB pays what it does:
It can.
It has to.
For those working at FB, we know what price you put on your soul and sense of humanity.
So you mean it wasn't a phishing attempt?
If so, I guess they wrote a bot to annoy every programmer on github or something... because someone from #Facebook mailed ME too.
And I mean... me.
One who hate #JS whole heartly and think #React is a #DoS against all of us to distract from their business model and make us forget #CambridgeAnalytica.
A bot from #Google wouldn't have wasted such bandwidth... but from Facebook... they are just spammers on steroids.

One might argue that having a job there is a good way to kill the monster from the inside, through leaks, bugs and so on...
But to me the risk I could somehow help them is too disgusting.

@Shamar @dredmorbius @rysiek I don't think so, his email address was fb.com, and the email itself didn't contain anything that could be a phishing attempt.
Now, I never replied so it's certainly possible it was phishing. But, the hypothesis that they are desperate sounds more entertaining.
Perhaps I should have replied and said I prefer to work for someone with more morals, like phillip morris.
