Progressive groups in the United States should be organizing massive, nationwide protests against Republican Party implicit and explicit acceptance and endorsement of anti-Semitism. Here in Washington, DC we need a demonstration near the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. I'm going to organize one. cc @ezralevin @leahgreenberg #Antisemitism
I've organized other protests over the years, including the first public protest in Washington DC against Trump era family separation. This will be the first time I am going to try to do this without using bird site. I'm figuring out how to proceed. But we need massive demonstrations against #antisemitism spreading through the Republican Party.
There are some moments that demand action. Racism and bigotry against Jews must be combatted as aggressively as every other form of dangerous, life-threatening racism and bigotry. Each and all of us have to stand against it all: #antisemitism #blackLivesMatter #BLM #AsianLivesMatter #homophobia #transphobia #misogyny
@heidilifeldman I wish journalists would quit asking for republican politicians to condemn others for their fascism and ask, without flinching or retreating, why it is that white supremacists and other bigots find such great attraction to the republican party. Until republicans are asked these questions directly there will be no progress.
@SpinozasHeresy For that matter, why are not the journalists also denouncing it--and reporting on the rise of this antisemitism pushed by white nationalist groups and fascists and in these articles also discuss the history of antisemitism in the US?
