Further: the GOP hearing is putatively on censorship, so today Republicans, including Speaker McCarthy, are framing RFKJr’s comments in terms of “not censoring him”. But what he said was nonsense based on a misread journal article (of dubious quality even if read correctly) that is anti-Semitic. You can go farther than “I disagree”. You can say “this man is a crank, can’t read a scientific article and his bigotry shouldn’t be aired in a hearing.” RFKJr’s speech rights will be unharmed.
