ChatGPT is a subset of AI. The “thorny issue” of ChatGPT has nothing to do with the broader category of AI that applies to revolutionary use cases in climate science, genetics and cybersecurity to name a few. And the copyright issues with ChatGPT will likely be straitened out. I guess all the “AI will be the end of humanity” clickbait panic has run course? Too bad this is behind a paywall. I’m sure it’s informative. 😒
