@dantheclamman Dan, this might be a bit of an odd question as it does not have to do with clams, but do you know any local (Ie: In Israel) scientists who work with ants?

I'm looking to get into ant keeping and I was hoping there might be some local scientists who knew the local wildlife, as it were.

I'm sure you're a busy guy, so don't go to any stress for a random internet question!

@Surasanji
I don't know him, but you could try Armin Ionescu-Hirsch, the curator of entomology at Tel Aviv University. The Steinhardt Museum collection was incredible for clams and probably is for ants as well! I believe right now is a nuptual flight time for ants so he might have some advice on catching a queen! antwiki.org/wiki/Ionescu-Hirsc
