So- Remake of Link's Awakening.

Let's start at the beginning:

Not worth $60.00. Probably worth $20.00 - $30.00.

I like the dungeon building thing, but it's lacking in major ways and certainly doesn't add enough to the game to cost an additional $30-$40

Music is fantastic, I love the art style. It did bring me back, but nostalgia isn't really something I can share with others. I love the quality of life improvements- bracelets just work, boots are dedicated button, sword and shield are the same.

I think I'd have liked a 'second quest' instead of a hero's mode. It make a lot more sense if there was a new adventure, like alternate dream or the like. Perhaps adding some of the cut content from the original? That is just wishful thinking, however.

@Giyadas So, they added a feature where you can build your own dungeons with tiles from other dungeons. Like a mix and match puzzle sort of thing.

It's charming but it lacks a few things that would have made it better.

For one, you can't share them easily. You HAVE to have an amiibo, and that means the person needs to be physically in your location for you to share any dungeons with them. That's the most glaring issue- I feel like you should be able to share them online.

The grind to get 'Tiles' is sort of annoying, too. It just feels like there could have been a lot more there and it falls short.

@Giyadas I like it, personally, but I just know it could be SO much more.

Maybe there will be an update or something, that's not an impossibility. As it stands now, though, it's lacking a bit in substance.

That being said, I've very much enjoyed playing it.

@Giyadas :fry: *not sure if this is British sarcasm or true statement* :fry:

@Giyadas I've had many British roomies, so, I wasn't sure! I'm familiar with that brand of sarcasm, it's all good to me.
