Rescuers from the Kyiv region in Ukraine saved a wounded fawn that had fallen onto the ice in the middle of a local reservoir. The fawn was likely running away from predators in the forest when it became exhausted and fell onto the ice. The rescuers pulled the baby to the shore and took it to a veterinary clinic for treatment. The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv Oblast was responsible for the rescue.
