Residents of the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol reported a large fire near the enemy base this morning. According to the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, thick smoke was seen in the lower part of the city behind the central market in the area of the occupied Refma plant, where the occupiers have set up their military base. He added that no explosions were heard, suggesting that the fire may have been caused by a cigarette butt left burning.
