Oazu Nantoi, a deputy of the ruling party in Moldova, has stated that Ukraine has the right to take military action against Transnistria if necessary. Nevertheless, he believes that Ukraine will not exercise this right, as Kyiv and Chisinau are having a constructive conversation, and the Russian military in Transnistria are not likely to participate in any conflict, thus reducing the threat.
