A resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region is being investigated for issuing loans totaling more than UAH 2 million to servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) who have gone missing. According to the investigation, the suspect obtained personal data of a missing AFU serviceman who was on a combat mission at the contact line and used electronic computing equipment and a duplicate SIM card to take out a loan in the serviceman's name. He then transferred the funds to bank accounts under his control and made payments in terminals for his own personal needs.
