Observers have reported that five Russian VKS helicopters (four Mi-24s and one Mi-8) took off from the Machulishchi airfield today and landed at the Luninets airfield, which is closer to the border of Belarus and Ukraine. Additionally, another Mi-8 helicopter was seen heading towards the Lepelsky training ground. It is too soon to speculate whether this is a sign of a relocation of a group of Russian VKS helicopters closer to the border with Ukraine, as it could be a training flight with a landing at another airfield. The situation is being monitored closely.
