Russia is attempting to disrupt the energy supply to the major Ukrainian cities of Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kyiv and Lviv by targeting the external networks that supply them with electricity. Chechens or missiles have been used to target the infrastructure around these cities, in an effort to cut off the power supply. Ukrenergo CEO Kudrytskyi noted that the power grid in Ukraine is already weak and in need of repair, and any new Russian attacks could have a significant impact.
