In recent weeks, the scandal surrounding international companies that have not left the Russian market has been ongoing: METRO, Auchan, Philip Morris, and Raiffeisen Bank. These companies have faced pressure from the public, the government, competitors, and partners. However, experts suggest that the greatest pressure should come from the countries of origin of these businesses, as it is there that decisions are made to leave the Russian market. Therefore, it is not recommended to boycott Auchan and similar companies in Ukraine.
