Six people who fought on the side of the occupying forces of the Russian Federation were sentenced to 15 years in prison - Prosecutor General's Office

Each of them was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property owned by right of ownership.

The prosecutors proved in court that in 2022 the convicts joined the ranks of the LNR/DNR armed formations not provided for by law.

At the "service" they received military uniforms and weapons. They took turns at the positions of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, received and transmitted information about the movement of military equipment and the placement of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

They also guarded the military facilities of the occupiers, carried out fortification of structures for enemy positions and resisted the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions.
