🇺🇦Volodymyr Zelensky announces the creation of the Alliance of Defense Industries

🌍The President announced this during the first International Defense Industries Forum.

🗣«Today at this forum we are announcing the creation of the Alliance of Defense Industries. An Alliance that values international law and is able to work for the real protection of international law. I'm talking not only about Ukraine, but also about security against aggression by any nation in the world,» the president said in a statement.

🫡According to Zelensky, Ukraine has developed a relevant basic declaration as the basis of the Alliance, and it can be joined by arms and military equipment manufacturers from around the world who share the intention to provide real protection against aggression in these risky conditions of our time. He added that the declaration has already been signed by "13 prominent companies that are ready to build a new arsenal of the free world together with Ukraine." In total, the forum was attended by representatives of 252 companies from over 30 countries.

🗣«The second thing I am pleased to announce in this format: Ukraine is developing a special economic regime for the defense industry. To give every opportunity to realize its potential to every company that works for defense in Ukraine and with Ukraine or that wants to come to Ukraine,» Volodymyr Zelensky said.

💰The President also announced the creation of a special Defense Fund to provide additional resources, in particular, for the development of military production and support for relevant cooperation, for the creation of new military facilities and programs necessary for defense and for the care of our soldiers. The fund's resources are a plus to public spending on defense, defense production, and private investment. The fund will be replenished with dividends from state-owned defense assets and profits from the sale of confiscated russian assets.
