The appeals court supported the position of the prosecutor's office regarding the punishment of a man who, together with the Russians, robbed the houses of fellow villagers

Earlier, the court found guilty a 62-year-old man who had been repeatedly tried for aiding and abetting the aggressor state.

Prosecutors proved in court that the resident of Novy Burluk actively supported the Russian Federation and expressed his position against Ukraine and its authorities. After the occupation of the settlement, the man helped the army of the aggressor country and became an "assistant" of the Russian commandant.

Since March of last year, he has been "directing" the Russian military to the homes of his fellow villagers with the aim of further robbery.
