Large-scale special operation in the Nikolaev region: one of the largest Russian intelligence networks during the war was neutralized

It consisted of 13 local residents, the SBU reported.

What is known?
▪️The attackers collected intelligence about the locations and movements of the Defense Forces in the southern region and corrected Russian air attacks on the city’s housing and social infrastructure.
▪️It was on their guidance that the Russian occupiers struck a multi-storey building in Nikolaev from the S-300 air defense system in the fall of 2022 (7 civilians were killed, including a minor child).
▪️The informants transmitted these data to the FSB through a “connected person” - pro-Kremlin blogger Sergei Lebedev (known under the pseudonym “Shaggy”).

As a result of operational actions, SBU officers identified all members of the Russian agent “Shaggy” and detained them at different places of residence.

The defendants are currently in custody. The court found four members of the enemy agents guilty of committing crimes and sentenced them to 8 to 15 years in prison.
