Sergeant Serhiy Malakhov died on June 15, 2023 in Luhansk region. The soldier was 24 years old.

Serhiy comes from Donetsk region. Received secondary technical education. After his term of service, he signed a contract with the 54th OMBr named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. Performed combat tasks in ATO/OOS.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Serhiy continued to defend Donetsk region from the invaders. Later he moved to Luhansk region.

💭"He became a brother, a close and reliable friend for me. A person with a capital letter: a cheerful, loving and caring man. We all miss him," Artyom, the deceased's best friend, said.

The defender is survived by his parents, wife, daughter, other relatives, friends and siblings.
