The Russian Federation launched an offensive in the Makiivka region and in the Kupiansk direction, — the commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The main goal of the occupiers is the defeat of the grouping of our troops, the encirclement of Kupiansk and the exit to the border of the Oskil River.

In two months, the enemy recovered and began to attack the positions of the Ukrainian military, engaged assault groups with the support of armored vehicles.
