Maryana Trysko came from Italy to defend Ukraine. She lived there for 14 years. Raised two children: son Eduard and daughter Roberta.
The woman had a medical education and worked in this field. When the full-scale war broke out, an Italian man told her: “There is war in your country. You are a doctor, your country needs you."
Maryana became a combat medic of the 102nd separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Received the call sign Kvitka.
The woman is remembered as a brave and bright person who professionally performed her work.
Maryana Tryasko died on September 24, 2022.
Recently, a memorial plaque was opened in her honor in the defender's homeland, in the city of Dolyna in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
It is located on the facade of one of the buildings of the Dolyna multidisciplinary hospital, where Maryana used to work as a nurse.
