My surgery went well but very late. 3PM when they took me to the OR. Mine ran about 2½ hours although it was scheduled to be 1 hour. He kept fine tuning. I was wide awake so he had me open and close the hand until he was satisfied. At first they had a sheet hung so I could not see. But after hearing me talk about what I saw in the Army they ended up taking the sheet down. And I think he enjoyed showing off his excellent work.
Because of the way things are situated, I have to reach across with my left hand to start the car. Little inconveniences.
I was able to easily restart the fire when I got home. Still a few coals.
