"This war will end only with Victory and definitely with the return of Crimea," Dmytro "Da Vinci" Kotsiubailo.

One year ago, on 7 March, Ukrainian volunteer, founder and first commander of the “Da Vinci Wolves” battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Kotsiubailo was killed in a battle near Bakhmut.

Dmytro was the first volunteer in the history of Ukraine to be awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine during his lifetime. Since 2014, Da Vinci has been defending Ukraine's independence, taking part in battles in the hottest spots of the frontline in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia, the “Da Vinci Wolves” combat group became a battalion that officially joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Eternal honour to the fighter for Ukraine's independence, the fighter for Ukraine's freedom, the fighter for Ukraine's victory. Eternal honour to the Ukrainian soldiers.
