A IL-76 military transport plane crashed in the Ivanovo region.

It fell a little short of the Severny airfield and crashed in a forest plantation near a local cemetery.

While taking off from the Severny airfield, its engine caught fire. After circling, the crew attempted to make an emergency landing back on the runway, but were unable to do so.
