🥃 Russia has significantly increased alcohol production

Alcohol enterprises in the russian federation in January-March of this year produced 15.948 million decaliters (dal) of vodka, which is 3.1% more than in the same period in 2023.

Cognac production increased by 6.5%, to 1.89 million decaliters. In total, 23.547 million decaliters of alcoholic beverages with a strength above 9 degrees were produced, which is 8.5% more than last year.

Over the three months of the year, wineries produced 7.125 million dal of grape wines, which is 25.8% more than in the same period last year. Sparkling (champagne) wines produced 3.248 million decaliters (42.7% more), liqueur wines - 379.5 thousand decaliters (36.4% more).

Production of low-alcohol drinks increased by 18.5%, to 5.16 million decaliters.
