In November 2023, realtor Yulia Marushina was in a hurry for an interview. The crossings across Tverskaya were blocked, the police sent pedestrians on a detour because VIP was passing. She made a mistake and crossed the cleared lanes. When Yulia stepped onto the empty roadway, a jeep jumped into the oncoming lane and hit her at full speed.

According to eyewitnesses, the Toyota had a flashing bucket light on, but no sound. The driver was FSB employee Oleg Pochitaev.
