Three students from Russia have been arrested in Finland for violating sanctions.
According to Yle, the Finnish police detained three Russian citizens in the border city of Kajaani, who turned out to be two 25-year-old men and an 18-year-old woman. They are suspected of exporting dual-use goods, the export of which is restricted by local legislation. These are "luxury items that, in addition to civilian use, can also be used for military purposes - either as they are or as spare parts." Such goods may include smartphones, drones, sensors, lasers, etc.
Today, the district court of Kainuu city arrested the suspects. They face up to 4 years in prison.
