⚔️ "People should know the names of Heroes", - Kyrylo Budanov

🎞 Especially for the Day of Heroes, which Ukrainians celebrate annually on May 23, the GUR presented the documentary film "Country of Heroes".

🫡 Together with famous military men and historians, an exclusive interview for the film was given by the head of the GUR, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov.

"I think it should be a truly state holiday, with support at the state level. People should know the names of the Heroes. We very often do not know the names of our Heroes or what they did. In this way, we partially destroy our history and our identity. Because a person has committed a deed, a serious deed, and no one will even know about it, except for those people who directly saw it - there will be nothing to educate the next generations,"
said Kyrylo Budanov.
