Z-activists Elena Kolbasnikova and Maxim Schlund fled from Germany to ruZZia due to “German repressions ”

According to Kolbasnikova, in Germany they faced “at least five years” and “were supposed to be detained any day now.”

In June 2023, a Cologne court fined 'Putin's fangirl' 900 euros for publicly endorsing Putin's war. The court explained to the defendant that the trial was not about personal freedom of expression, because this ends where the approval of crimes begins.

Their house was searched on suspicion of violating sanctions and illegal possession of weapons. The new case is related to illegal supplies to Donbas.
