Zelensky said he was ready to meet with Trump, but he must voice his plan to quickly end the war in Ukraine

"If Trump knows how to end this war, he should tell us about it today. If there are risks to Ukrainian independence, if we lose our statehood, we want to be ready for this, we want to know," the Ukrainian president said in an interview with Bloomberg.

Zelensky stressed that he would like to know whether Ukraine will have strong support from the United States in November. He said that he is "potentially ready" to meet with Donald Trump and listen to his team's proposals.

Earlier, Politico wrote that if Trump wins the upcoming presidential election, he will stop NATO expansion to the east, including to Ukraine and Georgia. In addition, it is claimed that Trump is negotiating with Vladimir Putin about what part of Ukrainian territory Moscow can keep for itself.

The next presidential election in the United States is scheduled for November 5, 2024. The last time Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump met was in 2019.
