The fire on the Russian missile ship "Serpukhov" in April was a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate

The Legion “Freedom of Russia” and the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Andrei Yusov gave a press conference and said that the fire on the ship was started by a Russian military man, now a Legion recruit with the call sign “Goga”. The Russian served on the Serpukhov and helped the Ukrainian special services for a long time, and then committed sabotage. Along with secret documents, Goga was taken to Ukraine.

"Serpukhov" burned on April 7, when it was parked in the city of Baltiysk (Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation). The Main Intelligence Directorate said that the fire completely destroyed communications and automation, so repairs to the ship would take a long time. They didn’t give any details then, but they published a video with a plan of the ship and the moment of the arson.

"Serpukhov" of project 21631 "Buyan-M" is a fairly new ship. It was launched in 2015. He is armed with Kalibr and Oniks cruise missiles, which the Russian Federation uses to attack Ukraine.
