Russians shot two unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war at point-blank range - Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin.

According to Ukrainian investigation, it happened in June 2024 near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. The recording clearly shows that Ukrainian Defenders laid down their arms and offered no resistance. Russians cynically shot unarmed people.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated for violation of the laws and customs of war involving premeditated murder.

"We know that this is not an accident. This is a deliberate policy of the criminal regime of the Kremlin to destroy everything Ukrainian. We will find and punish all those involved: both those who gave this criminal order and the direct perpetrators of this brutal crime," the Prosecutor General added.
