Another exiting ruSSian flight! Oil leaking plane searching for fires.
“The front window was covered in oil, there was no visibility. The window was opened. We wanted to get on the road, but we didn’t get there.”
State-controlled media report how an An-2 plane overturned during an emergency landing in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
The 'Wings of Taiga' airline board took off from the Buryat village of Sosnovo-Ozerskoye to search for fires and was heading towards the village of Mogzon. There were 6 people on board: three crew members and three forest rangers.
At about 13:30 the plane disappeared from the radar and stopped communicating. It soon became clear that the An-2 made an emergency landing in the Khiloksky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory. During landing the board turned over.
As the pilot of the plane said, he had to make an emergency landing due to the release of oil. As a result, when landing, the plane missed the road and overturned.
