The head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zakharova once again made provocative statements.

" Kyiv is preparing to destroy the dams of the Kyiv HPP and the Kaniv Reservoir, this will be another cynical provocation against the Russian Federation ."

Although Sakharova's statement looks like an attempt to provide Russia with an alibi before a terrorist attack, the Center for Combating Disinformation believes that the statement is an attempt by the Kremlin to cause panic, fear and confusion amongst the Ukrainian public.

Together with planted narratives about "peace at any price" they hope for Ukraine to de-facto capitulate, according to the Center.
