What's more on the radar?

RuZZia might resort to use mothballed 130-mm M-46 cannons from the 1950s, according to several OSINT analysts and projects referring to videos and satellite images. It might be be associated with the use of North Korean 130-mm shells, since these ammunition are not produced in russia itself. The Z-army may have about 600 such guns in storage.

RuZZia will try to produce spare parts for the Russian automotive industry in Africa. Russian manufacturers of automotive parts expect to start assembling components in Nigeria from 2025. Nigeria provides a five-year tax holiday for investors in car assembly production. There are already about 15 car assembly plants in Nigeria. They mainly produce Chinese and Indian models of cars and trucks. Sergey Shaikhetov, CEO of the research company Afrikaresearch points out problems with logistics in the African country and the lach of qualified workers, so they will have to be trained in production technologies. UAZ announced its plans to launch Lada production in Ghana.

RuZZia will begin to import apples from NK. Rosselkhoznadzor noted that before that, North Korean apples were included in the list of quarantined products, but now they can freely supply to Russia "accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate", confirming "the absence of quarantine organisms in the goods". Earlier, the Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut admitted that they had to lower the forecast for the apple harvest in 2024 due to frost and is working with "friendly" countries to supply additional volumes.

Large Russian developers have lost access to project documentation stored in the cloud service of the American developer of computer-aided design systems Autodesk BIM 360, two sources among developers told RBC. Autodesk has recently begun blocking those companies from russia that continued to use illegally its solution, making purchases through third countries or using a VPN. The American vendor suspended operations in the country back in 2022 due to the war, and in March 2024 banned russian companies from using its software products.

Most of the ready-made food offered by popular delivery services in Moscow turned out to be unfit for consumption. Tests of E. coli group (coliforms), S. aureus (staphylococcus), Salmonella, Listeria and parasites in food show violations of hygiene in production, as well as the questionable freshness of products. In 62.5% of the ordered dishes, experts found an unacceptable amount of E. coli and microbes. At the same time inspections have been suspended - obviously hygiene doesn't fit in with traditional ruZZian values...
