Poland Suggests Hungary Exit EU and NATO After Orbán's Statements

Following recent statements by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has suggested that Hungary should consider leaving the European Union and NATO. The deputy head of the Polish Foreign Ministry highlighted that, in contrast to Orbán's approach, Poland has ceased doing business with Russia following its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, viewing the attack as an assault on Poland, the United States, the European Union, and NATO.

Deputy Minister Bartoszewski pointed out that Orbán's speech has already drawn strong negative reactions, including from the US Embassy in Budapest.
