China is firmly determined to promote a political settlement of the Ukrainian "crisis" based on the four principles outlined by Xi Jinping. Although the conditions and time for negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow have not yet arrived, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said after a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
Wang Yi's main statements:
▫️ China and Brazil released six joint agreements on the political settlement of the crisis, including three principles of "conflict" settlement, three elements of a "peace plan," three humanitarian issues, as well as important measures to prevent nuclear risks and ensure the stability of industrial and supply chains.
▫️ China believes that all conflicts should end at the negotiating table, and all disputes should be resolved by political means. Recently, both Ukraine and Russia have demonstrated readiness for negotiations. "Although the conditions and time are not yet ripe, we support all efforts promoting peace and are ready to continue to play a constructive role in the cessation of fire and the resumption of peace talks," the minister said.
▫️ China and Ukraine are friendly countries, having established a strategic partnership more than ten years ago. Both countries treat each other with mutual respect and equality and steadily develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
▫️ Both countries should maintain ties, strengthen mutual trust, develop traditional friendship, promote people-to-people relations, and ensure the healthy and stable development of relations.
▫️ China is the largest trade partner of Ukraine and the largest export destination for Ukrainian agricultural products.
▫️ Both sides should use bilateral cooperation mechanisms and strengthen practical cooperation in various fields. China will continue to expand grain imports from Ukraine and jointly support uninterrupted logistics channels and international food security.
▫️ Wang thanked the Ukrainian side for helping to evacuate Chinese citizens, especially students, at the early stage of the conflict in Ukraine and expressed hope that Ukraine will continue to take effective measures to ensure the safety of Chinese personnel and institutions in Ukraine.

@TheOldGuy Russia must leave all Ukrainian territory. That should be the plan.
