Azov soldier Ishchenko died in Russian captivity due to multiple fractures and blunt force trauma to his chest.

The deputy commander of the Azov brigade published the results of a forensic medical examination and a certificate of cause of death.

The documents indicate that the death was caused by multiple rib fractures, shock, and a closed blunt chest injury as a result of "contact with a blunt object."
