❗️The Reuters agency reported the death of its security adviser during the attack on Kramatorsk
The Reuters news agency confirmed that its employee Ryan Evans was killed during an attack on a hotel in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.
"Two of our journalists are in hospital, one of them was seriously injured," Reuters said in a statement. "Three more of our colleagues have been found and are safe."
Reuters writes that it is trying to get more information about the attack on the hotel and for this it is cooperating with the Ukrainian authorities in Kramatorsk.
"We extend our deepest condolences to Ryan's family and loved ones. Ryan helped many of our journalists cover events around the world," the agency writes.
Earlier, the authorities of the Donetsk region confirmed that the body of a British citizen was found under the debris of a hotel in Kramatorsk that was destroyed by a missile strike.
According to the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, the strike was carried out by russia using an "Iskander-M" ballistic missile.
