Russians using World War II-era M-30 howitzers
Due to the acute shortage of artillery systems, russians have to restore artillery systems from the 1930s and 1960s.
"Here are some fresh shots of the 122mm howitzer M-30 model 1938 being used at the front... but it lasted only two days and was destroyed."
The howitzer from the WWII was damaged as a result of an attack by about 15 Ukrainian FPV drones.
In addition, they repair their artillery systems using naval guns that are currently being decommissioned.
Militarnyi reported that the Russians have started using a hybrid of the naval gun Ak-130 and a carriage from a M-46 towed artillery gun, and said that there is a high probability that these hybrid guns are manufactured by Russian enterprises to provide the troops with the required quantity of artillery systems. The russian navy has plenty of them in their warehouses, and since the Ak-130 isn't installed on new ships, they can use the decommissioned guns for artillery.
