Panic at Gazprom

The Sudzha gas metering station, captured by Ukrainian troops, is not working properly, reports oil and gas analyst Mikhail Krutikhin: there is no electricity, the batteries that were supposed to support the station are dead, and there is no technical staff. Gazprom cannot control the pumping of gas towards Europe.

Gazprom is offering Ukraine to move the gas delivery point 300 km into Russian territory, to the Dolgoe station, but Ukraine is not agreeing. "And what will Gazprom do if Dolgoe ends up in Ukrainian hands?" - "We will have to move the gas delivery point to Urengoy," Gazprom employees bitterly joke in response.
