The gap in ammunition between Russia and Ukraine has narrowed to a record low. Currently, the ratio of artillery shells is approximately 1 to 2.
This was reported by the First Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk.
"If we talk about artillery ammunition, for example, at the beginning of the year the ratio of shots (from Ukrainian and occupation forces) was 1 to 7, 1 to 8, and even more in some months. As of the beginning of the summer, this ratio was 1 to 3. Now this ratio is approximately 1 to 2," he said.
According to the deputy minister, the successful strikes by the defense forces on Russian ammunition depots played a role in this. @ukrainejournal
