Nobody said anything and nobody tried to stop him - they just gave him what he wanted. Only 6 years in did everyone wake up to the monster they had let out of its cage. It was too late by then.
This is how it will unfold. We will ignore what happens until when faced with something we don’t expect - a rearmed post Ukraine defeat Russia, it comes for us. And America isn’t there to help stop it.  Only then will it become clear what we have let happen.
American leadership matters. Only a Harris win will stop that turn to oblivion. It’s that simple.
