⚡ Twelve European countries have agreed to curb Russia’s “shadow fleet.”
The countries will inspect insurance documents of suspicious vessels passing through the English Channel, the Danish Straits, and the Gulf of Finland. The participating nations emphasized that they are “determined” to hold Russia’s shadow fleet accountable for its role in supporting Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Ukraine’s President responded to the statement, saying it is “absolutely fair to restrict the activities of Russia’s shadow fleet to protect Ukraine and all of Europe.”
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russia has spent $10 billion to establish its shadow fleet.
