A fragment of a Pantsir-S missile was recovered from the plane that crashed in Kazakhstan, an Azerbaijani government source told Reuters.
“The Azerbaijani side possesses a fragment of a Pantsir-S missile, which was extracted from the plane and identified through international expertise,” the source said.
This information emerged on the same day that Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport released a preliminary report on the crash. The report stated that numerous perforating and non-perforating damages were found on the wreckage and included images of foreign objects embedded in the aircraft’s fuselage.
