You’d think that would be intuitive but it’s not.

@TheOldGuy The "who caused it" part needs to go. While one could argue that they are all responsible, the gop would argue that means the Dems shouldn't be getting paid and the Dems would argue it means the gop shouldn't.

Any and all loop holes, including that certain aspects of the government are exempt from a shutdown have to be removed.

An even better solution is to make it so failing to pass a budget triggers a new election.
