@null0x0 Let it. Don’t fight, don’t demand it should not be there. Acceptance is not surrender.

@null0x0 Acceptance is acknowledging what is there - the reality. Surrender is not doing anything to change things as they are. Change cannot be brought about by first not accepting what is there.

@null0x0 in case of Anxiety acceptance that you have it is step 1. Once we accept then we learn to defuse it.

@tariquesani how do you go about diffusing it? It is an response, so there must be a trigger, trigger can be a lot of things?

@null0x0 there are several techniques to defuse. The one I use is to personify my Anxiety. Give it a name, character, voice tone etc etc. Let it talk. I call my anxiety TINA (given for There Is No Alternative). Tina talks in my head and I can choose to reply, ignore or at times reason it out with her. Another way is to give it your favourite cartoon character voice OR imagine it as a TV show where you have the remote. Sounds silly right? Well that’s the point. 1/2

@tariquesani @null0x0 that's really cool. I have regular episodes of anxiety and it really makes it difficult for me to focus. This helped. Thank you.
